The Holocaust Museum & Education Center, located in Naples, Florida, teaches the lessons of the Holocaust to inspire action against bigotry, hatred, and violence. Blue Turtle Graphics had designed their previous website over 6 years ago and it was time for a modern and technological update.
The new site, fully customized and rebuilt on a responsive (mobile-friendly) framework, now features an easily navigable format. From the home page, you have quick access to all the information you need about the Museum, its hours, membership programs, events and recent news. Updated content includes new Education program offerings, teaching curriculum, student programming, and recent media coverage about the museum. Integration with The Events Calendar plugin allows the museum to display their upcoming and past exhibits and events with detailed information about time, cost and location. A Resources section was added with information on the museum's library, important links as well as Liberator and Survivor testimonies that include photos and video testimonies. On every page, there is a call-to-action to support the museum as well as an opportunity to sign up for their monthly newsletter. A newsletter archive was also added so visitor can view past newsletters.
The new website received a lot of positive feedback from the museum's members and site visitors. It was designed to be more user-friendly and easy to navigate. The fact that the new site is now mobile responsive makes it much easier for visitors to get information about hours, directions and events while on-the-go. Whether you are a Member, Supporter, Visitor, Teacher or Student, all the information you need is at your fingertips.
Our new site is clean and beautiful. Kim did an amazing job of organizing all of our information and photos and listening to all our input. She delivered the new site on time and on budget.
